And whoever asked if Nintendoland is a pack-in or not, good job! With only 12 mini-games, it's basically Wii Play HD.
And that's apparently the reason they're not sure. America got Wii Sports as a pack-in, Europe got Wii Play, and Japan...did they even get anything? So yeah, it's up to Reggie.

exactly. where are the cheap and easy ports. if those aren't coming, worry.
As much as I don't want it, COD and FIFA are important for WiiU's start and I agree with you, where are the cheap and easy ports like Need For Speed, COD, Fifa, NFL etc? It's the first time I don't see it in a launch line-up.

Agreed with all the stuff you liked too [though Pikmin 1 really didn't 'grab' me, so I'll give the new one a miss].
I'm still just gobsmacked at how a YEAR of prep led to a such a scatterbrained presentation [compared to the Pre-E3 ND even].
Why are Nintendo still being so cryptic over the system OS, Online, Third Party support [surely all the NDAs are void now?], Achievements and stuff? It makes no sense. It almost seems intentional.
... At least I got my S&SASRT Wii U version confirmation tonight.
Time for bed now [4am here in the UK]...
I can understand what youre feeling. In november (2011) I was excited for this thing, I was preparing my self for this. I started to read tons of neogaf articles just to see if there is any rumour about Nintendo.
Nintendo is being so closed about the online functionalities, games etc. I don't know what is going on.

Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed was confirmed for the Wii U and is coming to the 3DS as well.

c'mon. reggie didn't even know how to handle that controller...
miyamoto has to retire
and Iwata... already zombified...
that's just sad..
A bit over dramatic don't you think?
LOL of course... but i'm very disappointed
not that big N has to owe me something... but they know fans were listening and watching... and that wasn't a fair play from them...

has bad press... conferences... but we have... to carry on... as fans.............
LOL at this
but... a bad press is irrelevant to me at the end...
the fact they got nothing to show for a brand new console i have to choose to buy (or not)... that's a little bit more relevant.
I know it was a bit dissapointing but it wasnt by far the worse. We are getting quite some exclusive releases this year for a new system, some good games coming with the new details revelead by other companies, id say it was way better than other e3s they had at gc era and of course Wii music one. We just expected a lot more.
At the risk of being the optimist again, there's no reason to declare purchasing intentions (or lack thereof) this early in the game (pun intended?). Though it would have been great to hear every question we're dying to have answered at this point, Nintendo is a smart business and generally doesn't lose money or idea space by keeping their cards close to their chest until the time is right. We'll know all about the console before it goes on sale, and methinks most all will all be happy with what we learn.

Waking up on a brand new day, yeah. You're right... I know.
Just wish they'd been more focus from Nintendo this year [less talking, less NintendoLand - despite me liking it, a sizzle trailer of their IPs in HD, more openness on online].
Luigi's Mansion 2 and Paper Mario being end of year titles still stings

I dunno dude... I think it's too early to call it. I still feel quite a lot of secrecy with Wii U... a LOT. This E3 was mainly about Nintendo showing how they would please their casual gamer audience (which provides the most cash for them) but they just kind of skipped over their hardcore crowd. But like I said, I don't think this is over... there's just SO much stuff we've heard over the past couple of years that needs answering and none of that was even mentioned so they have some 'splainin' to do.
The best part of this roundtable was that they said they're still interested in making games for, you know, us. They just haven't announced them yet, really.
Don't know to both. Nintendo Land has achievements though, apparently, but it could be Wii Sports Resort like.
im interested on achievs and online gameplay and they didnt say anything... its stupid
Wait... that was it? It was just all Nintendoland-related?

i thought nintendo land was more like an app, not actually a disc game... lol
I thought the same thing about Wii Sports 6 years ago...then I saw the disk in the box.

Have a good night sir!
Good to know! I hope it will happen with COD and Most Wanted 2 as well.

ironic their first system was released in 1985, 30 years of loyalty? so you were loyal even before knowing about them?
huh.. i dont know if they will ever recover
It's pretty close to 30 years.
uh ok ok, first G&W owned was about 30 years ago... yeah I know... i exagerated a little... rolls eyes

Well, looks like this will be called, "Nintendo's 2nd worst E3 conference"..... Unless people actually like wii music... Yep.

again I have to say "what, that's it?!"
do they not realize what kind of message they're sending by not announcing or teasing something to look forward to past Pikmin?
