GoNintendo's Child's Play Month long fundraiser

Having posted a banner recently for Child's Play 2005, I spent a good portion of my time last night reading some stories that they have over on their site. You can't help but feel a sympathetic pain when hearing about some of the situations that the children are in. It also tugged on my lil old heartstrings to read up on what some organizations/companies have done to help out. After mulling things over for a few hours last night, I have come to the conclusion not just that we want to help, but we NEED to help.

The only way to donate rigth now is to go the traditional route by sending a donation via our PayPal link. Just click our PayPal link on the sidebar and send your donation to us. When we receive your money we will take your payment and set it aside for Child's Play. If you do choose to donate through our PayPal link, 100% of your donation will go to Child's Play 2005.

Donations will start being tallied today, with the last day to contribute being December 28th. The reason things end on December 28th is to make sure that we have enough time to get our GoNintendo check to Child's Play before the month's end. When our check is mailed, we will make sure that it is from the staff AND loyal readers of GoNintendo. You guys will deserve more praise then we can give for all your help.

Help make a difference in children's lives this year. In five minutes of your time you can help make a child's life a little bit better. Remember, we will take 100% of the PayPal donations and put them towards helping Child's Play. Take some time out of your day to help out.
