Most of us thought that the Marvel pinball tables were going to be part of the Zen Pinball 3D DLC. That all changed with today's Euro release list, which indicates that Marvel Pinball 3D is coming to the eShop as a separate title. I guess there's a good reason for this...but we don't know it!

Actually makes sense. This way original DLC will come to Zen Pinball and Marvel extra tables will only come to the Marvel Pinball 3D. Some people may not wish to get Zen Pinball by itself just to get Marvel Pinball tables.
I never knew they were by the same people anyways. Either way, neat. I love pinball so I can't really turn it down. I'm such a sucker. xD... -_-
Probably licensing issues. Either way it's on the same system as DLC, so it's not like you have to change carts or anything.
I missed the part where Marvels tables were specifically part of the DLC discussion.
Maybe it never happened......
I think branding Marvel themed tables under their own title makes perfect sense.
Makes sense to sell them as a separate fork on 3DS because they don't have the luxury of the game's shell being free to download like on XBLA.
Having to buy Zen Pinball in order to then buy Marvel Pinball would mean extra money would have to be spent by someone who just wants Marvel themed tables.
