Classic Legend of Zelda comics - From success to Penthouse and suicide
Have you ever read any of the Valiant-produced comics based on The Legend of Zelda? I'm guessing many people haven't, which is why you wouldn't know the name George Caragonne. He penned most of these issues as far as writing went, and saw a good deal of success from the works.
Unfortunately, Caragonne's story doesn't end as a happy one. His tale takes us down a road of employment at Penthouse magazine, which some say paved the path to his decision to commit suicide. A sale story indeed, but one worth taking the time to read.
