The 3DS needs a shooter already. I can't believe I just said that but it is true. The system has been available to the public for over a solid year now and there isn't even a shooter announced yet. The first person to have a good one out will be in a very good position if you ask me. I'd love to see N-Space or Renegade Kid tackle a FPS on 3DS.
I would love to see Winter come out on the Wii U!
Oh man, Winter?! I thought that game idea was dead for sure! Get that kicksterter going and take my money!!!!
Hmmm...i'd be interested in kickstarting winter. Man this whole kickstarting thing blew up starting with Tim Shaefer. I guess some devs are realizing some fans will pay any price to get the entertainment they want.
Oh man! This is all good news to me coming from n-Space. I saw Dan O'Leary at PAX East 2012 StreetPass Network panel, but I didn't to get talk to him. I was gonna ask him about Winter, but now I know there's an even bigger chance that the project may still be coming. Right now, I wanna see Winter on Wii U and Dementium 3 on 3DS!

I think bringing Winter to 3DS might be a better option, wouldn't cost as much and they wouldn't need to significantly upgrade the looks.
I guess this means no CoD for 3DS this year well unless they're not allowed to say or Activision get a different dev for it. The only problem I've had with their CoD DS games was that they tried to fit the console game onto the DS instead of making something to suit it better. Also GoldenEye DS was dreadful.
port geist and then make giest 2
Geist would be cool, but I'd like to see Winter more. I'm a little intrigued to see what that's all about.
They might be experts on stylus based controls but the visuals... renegade kid is in a different league with the Dementium 2 engine
I lost faith in Kickstarter being a viable way to fund game production when Class of Heroes II failed to reach its goal (technically there's time left, but there's no way they'll raise $400,000 in 9 days).
i'd like more shooters on my 3ds and wii u , one with coop local and online , horde and adventure mode . I know it's great fun even as an afterthought in conduit 2 and three friends .
*sigh* okay, look, Kickstarter is a great thing, but it ONLY REALLY WORKS for developers that people have a strong reverence for. People like Tim Shaeffer and the team at Double Fine making an ADVENTURE GAME. People have reverence for that, and thus will obviously pay to see it come to fruition. The campaign to make a Wasteland 2 - people have reverence for that, and thus have paid to make it happen.
Nobody is going to pay for n-Space, a developer that I DO respect, to finish a game nobody's heard of or remembers outside of a small circle on the internet.
What!!!!!!!!!! I don't want to hear"wants to" I want confirmation they are already working on a FPS. The 3DS needs one. I'm fine w/ stylus control but now w/ the CPP it just makes sense(please everyone).
Shame they have no confidence to make Winter on the Wii U themselves...
n-space should port over Doom 1 & 2 to the 3DS.
I'll be there week one for their 3DS FPS. Call of Duty or whatever.
Unfortunately, I was never that interested in Winter, and honestly confused as to why it was the one to get the fan support out of other canned Wii games surfacing at the time.
Conduit 3DS, Winter 3DS, Call of Duty 3DS, whatever! I also think the 3DS needs a FPS already!
I'd prefer gyro controls. And I love touch screen aiming too because of separate screen, but they would have to bring back the thumbstrap.
I prefer the thumbstrap (still have mine) and I can't stand using the stylus. I stopped getting the DS games because of the lack of flexibility in button usage. Since I only need my thumb to aim, and not my whole hand, I could be using ADS with the other trigger and whatnot. But no, they keep deciding to use both buttons for firing.

I lost faith in Monkey Paw Games when they said they needed half a million dollars to localize such a primitive dungeon crawler. is it really necessary to re-record all of the voiceover work in english, translate a web-comic series, and create a new english language theme song? talk about padding a project out to try to justify an inflated price tag.
lots of great fan-made localizations have been done for zero dollars. I'd be more apt to support a Kickstarter project like that if they had a detailed breakdown showing exactly how that $500,000 was going to be spent.
"Winter was cancelled due to publishers saying it didn't fit the Wii"
Ugh, shame to see this happen, but not surprising. By the way, what was Winter all about gameplay wise? I never really knew much about it other than perhaps its setting/atmosphere.
They haven't mastered stylus based shooters yet. there aim reticule is not loose or dynamic, like the one in Metroid Prime Hunters, that causes the whole screen to move too much when you move the reticule when it's locked in the middle. It needs a dead zone. then we can talk.
If they put a shooter on 3DS, I'd get it.
What a great idea. I haven't thought about it. I'll participate in any Nintendo exclusive kickstart
@MisterOpinionHead
They're localizing the game no matter what (it'll be out on PSN in a few months), but they wanted to make it the best they could, not to mention a physical release. It's a little hefty, sure, but I thought it was just as worthy a cause, if not more so, as Double Fine Adventure.
@delpiero
Anarchy Reigns is basically a sequel to MadWorld.
