June is going to be a hugely important month for Nintendo. This E3 is the make-or-break point for the Wii U. While we won't get launch date or price, we are going to see the reasons why people will want the console. If software isn't there, there's no reason to pick up the Wii U at launch. Can Nintendo show us how the Wii U really is the next-gen of consoles with their software?

I think they can. With all the experience they have with touch controls motion controls and traditional controls i'm sure they can combine them in a spectacular way. They have also shown me that they can do digital and online with the 3ds, let's see how they take it to the next level on the Wii u. As for visuals, i'm sure nintendo can surprise us.
Peace to MCA, Adrock and Mike D!
Sorry to go off topic!
I just hope they have some real show-stopping games on display. I would also fear that the system specs might be too current-gen. That would inevitably weaken Nintendo's position when the other next-gens come out. They have a LOT to prove at E3. I'm not sure that a 2-D side-scrolling Mario game will be enough to have a "wow" factor. They truly need to prove themselves. I do have faith, though!
It's only going to happen with their 1st party offerings IMO. I don't think 3rd parties will go the extra mile
There ABSOLUTELY has to be a Wii Sports-esque game INCLUDED. That's the thing that got so many people to initially purchase the Wii. Arcade-y games from Nintendo tend to get people excited, thinking it's a return to the old-school Nintendo.
There also has to be a Mario or Zelda title available Day 1. I have a sick feeling that (since Skyward Sword just released months ago) we'll be getting NSMB Mii packaged in. It's a cheap, easy game to put together and if the past 2 entries have shown anything (both are in the top 10 best selling video games), people buy them in droves.
@Star Luigi Nintendo already said that they are working on a wii sports-esque game so that seems plausible. I'm also willing to be that there will be a mario game at or near launch. Especially with all the times people from Nintendo have been saying that exact thing and the confirmation of new super mario bros 2 Wii U (or 4)
I'm confident that Nintendo will have a good start with the Wii U launch, but what I want is a confirmation of that rumored Retro Star Fox Wii U game.
Thank you. Don't apologize!
I can't believe he's gone.
