John Carmack celebrates Wolfenstein's 20th birthday, discusses the SNES version

"On the SNES version, you couldn't shoot dogs in a Nintendo game, or not back then. They all had to be changed to evil-eyed German rats. I had to go along with the fact that the blood had to be changed to green because you can't actually shoot people. So they had to be aliens wearing human uniforms, or something." - John Carmack

@dlf
And you can play the browser version of the game anyway, for free. On the official site.

This game was pretty much my first FPS. I remember I was pretty scared by it, claustrophobia ahoy! :lol: And the sounds were pretty unnerving. Searching for secret passages was also a chore. But the game is still a Masterpiece :)
