I haven't been keeping up. Is the Wii U version coming out at the same time as the others? If so, why wouldn't you get the Wii U version? It'll look just as good (probably better in 1080p) and should have cool tablet implementation.
It's not giving money out of goodwill if both versions are practically the same. Plus, do we even know if Wii U games will be $60? It might be cheaper than other versions.

things like online, patch support, achievements, etc. the wiiu is a pretty unknown quantity at this point.

Well this is Nintendo, and they've managed to f*** up alot of this stuff before, so it's up to them to prove this stuff to be true. They haven't earned any 'benefit of the doubt' when it comes to basic system feature-sets.
Besides, there's NOTHING yet released to lead anyone to believe the WiiU version is "the one to get" for this game. We don't know what changes they're making to the UI, if they're adding just dumb pointless stuff or adding meaningful changes to the game's functionality. And if the latter is the case, that still doesn't necessarily mean it's for the better.
Don't expect people to be jumping onto the WiiU versions of these games if they already OWN systems that can play them just fine.

so nintendo is going to have online at least as good as psn? or an achievement system? or their cert process for patches will sensible? will I be able to get all the DLC on WiiU if I so choose? if there is a compelling reason, I'll get it for WiiU, if it's a quick and lazy port, I'll get it a couple weeks early on the system I have.
for 3rd party games, nintendo needs to prove to me that I'm would be missing out on something that I can't get on my other systems. why would I go for example, the wiiu version of say... darksiders 2 when it will probably be technically(not graphically, all versions will be a port of the 360 version) inferior to the PC version where I have my steam friends and achievements and will probably be out this summer?
with 3rd party multiplatform games they have an uphill battle in my eyes. I have a ps3 and a gaming PC, I need good reasons other than my goodwill to buy the WiiU version.
who knows, maybe they will shock me at e3, I HOPE they do. but I plan on being less than elated. so, I hope for the best, plan for the worst.
edit:damn my sentence construction is terrible today, I swear I'm not drunk.
although I have the whole series on PS3, I will get this on Wii U, even if they just make the map on the touch screen. It's actually my biggest complaint about the games, I'm constantly pausing to look at the map, it would be a heavy convenience for me having the map readily available, especially since the last game (Revelations) had shovel loading to get to the map.
I'm still getting this game on ps3, until there is a compelling reason to get it on the U. e3 will be the judge I think.
@gtt well supporting 3rd party developers on nintendo platforms should be reason enough.

I'm not in the habit of giving companies money out of goodwill. there are too many unknowns with the wiiu version to go with it at this point.
