Doesn't this happen in pokemon?
yep, i think there was a daycare in some of the pokemon games where they would raise your pokemon. this is a bit different in that its tied to rare monsters.
Of course the two games are going to have their similarities. having played both though, i feel they're actually pretty different as actual games.
