I dropped Comcast 2 or 3 years ago. It was pretty much guaranteed my internet would be out at least a couple days a month. And there were several TV channels I didn't get that I wanted. I switched to AT&T DSL which was slower but more reliable, and DISH network which I absolutely hated. I have MetroNet fiber optic cable now which I love, I get twice the TV channels, plus HD channels and DVR, plus my internet is 3 times faster and doesn't have to have a modem and never goes out for $20 more than my old basic Comcast package.
