Well, that really is kind of slimy. Sorry to see the team end up getting pink slipped during gaming's biggest week.

THQ is dying, and not in a pretty way as shown.
It looks like THq San Diego was the studio that THq acquired from Midway back in 2009. They made UFC Undisputed and WWE Raw vs. Smackdown. Now that they've lost the UFC license to EA, I guess they weren't needed anymore.
I'm sure they'll find a home at EA since they now have the UFC license.

Also, this leaves THQ with just four development studios: Vigil Games (Darksiders 2), Volition Inc. (Saints Row 1,2,3,4), Relic Games (Warhammer IP) and THQ Montreal (????). Thank God THQ managed to get the distribution rights to South Park: The Stick of Truth because that will probably be its biggest hit this year.
