It's funny that when you see both games newt to each other, you'd think that NSMBU is the one that'll launch sooner, since the music is orignal, as well as the settings and stages.
But that's the other way around. Maybe they'll change a bit of NSMB2 but they don't have much time if it's releasing in August.
It's a demo. There will be new music, not the placeholder filler from NSMB Wii as well as four Reznors and it will be harder in the finished game. The trailer already shows how a real battle with Reznor will be.
This game was so below my radar before I read IGN's impressions. Now that I know the purpose of 1 million coins, it seems like it'll be quite challenging. And the levels look fun too.
Even if I didn't really care much for it, I'll still buy it because I'm a slave to the system.

Heheeheheheheh, you're kidding yourself. The music is already been altered slightly for a few things (there are Bahps added for the Tower theme and each track has it's own "coined" and "raccoon" channels), which makes it quite obvious the music will be the same in the final version.
The Reznor battle has two of them here, because this is the first tower, probably. The latter ones will add more Reznors. And I'll bet you seventy five million zimbabwe dollars that each tower will have a Reznor variation.
I'd like to have flying mechanics more like Super Mario Worlds cape. At first I was thrilled to see new flying suit, that hinted towards my dreams, but it was lame floating device instead. Lazy lazy.
Would be far more fun and exciting, if you could dash to build up speed and then steer back to heavens(not necessarily too fast, too far or too easily, if it was problematic for level design).
Otherwise I'm excited of this game.
Online 4 player in 4 Swords style, as well as online racing mode would of course...
...not happen...anywhere else than in my dreams...every night...and locally with 3 3DS's with their NSMBs.
Definitely my most anticipated Wii U and 3DS games. I didn't think I'd be saying that a week ago.

New Super Mario Bros. U is clearly the superior offering so far.
Liking the new music for U as well.
Finally, a boss that takes less than 5 seconds to beat.
