This looks amazing each time I see footage of it. I love the concept and direction as it breathes fresh air in shooters and zombie games. THIS is how you do a survival horror game, take note Capcom!! This should remain a Wii U excusive title no ports to other systems. Make this a game the REASON why it's on a Wii U!!
It looks really well done.
I hope it sells well when the system launches, and I'd love to see more support from Ubisoft at this level, at the very least.
The whole concept seems awesome.
Visuals need some polish tho: No AA solution and the animations look awkward and scripted.
I really hope theres some kind of co-op mode, i've done over 200 hours on L4D on Steam because of co-op .
- Some of the graphics, like the girl's model, look like ass. Others look fine. Hopefully this is because it's still an early build they just decided to show off at E3 and the final game will look nicer.
- The names of these things. BOB/Bug-Out Bag? Seriously? The Prepper?
Other than that, the multiplayer sounds awesome, the single player sounds amazing and I love the concept of being able to be killed by yourself. So cool.
We do have baseball bats over her in the UK, not everyone's cricket obsessed xD
I'm looking forward to finding out more about this game, like where you start from if you die. They say there are no checkpoints as such, but after starting from the same spot several times it's going to get dull, so there must be some sort of progression in terms of where you start when you die.
I will DEFINATELY buy this game if it supported online AND offline multiplayer.
Maybe have it set up so multiple people on one Wii U can play online with others.
Did they say if the Pro Controllers are supported?

What would be absolutely awesome, and one of those really nice touches to a AAA game, is that in sequences where you access the WiiPad, and it's clearly raining outside like it is in this demo, if the WiiPad screen in your hands had rain drops hitting off it and skewing the visuals on the screen just like it would be for the in game character and her in game "WiiPad". This almost seems like a no brainer in this day and age.

Anyway. This is really starting get more and more interesting. I can really see the potential of the looking at pad thing while you could be attacked. The one byte and your dead thing and that you kill the guy/gal who you were before too. Why did Ubi do a better job at showing what the pad is for?
And of course it's an early build. Probably wasn't that long ago Ubi got the final dev kits either. They still have time to polish this game just nice I would think.
Wonder what other areas we'll get though. Kinda hoping this is a long and big game. And online co-op? Yes please, Mr. Ubisoft!
very nice video , i was totally scared at one point . I don't think there's going to be any kind of online multiplayer , it would be versus probably and as a coop game less scary not at all really . But mostly it's a small but great project and they simply don't want to do that . For the next in the series possibly or if they port it . Nice use of ressources in any cases , i hope that the only map is quite big but i would hazard a guess that's going to be the equivalent of three four usual stages so half the assets usually needed . But at least the script that time is going to be only played once
The faces look like asses, but thats because they are procedurally made(can be time consuming to make a system that creates ok looking faces). Othervice not bad looking game.

I'm more impressed by and excited for this game with each preview I watch. This was a really nice dev walkthrough.
Such a refreshing take on the zombeh game, can't wait to take a crack at it.

"You've just been eaten by your former survivor". This is going to be great
I like some of the ideas displayed here. If I actually liked horror games, I'd be pretty interested in this one.
this looks more resident evil than resident evil itself
awesome
I'm stoked.
My only beef:

No matter how much I see, the Wii U pad stuff doesn't make up for the terribly jerky, robotic turning and aiming.

hopefully they permit to aim like on FPS's on NIntendo DS with the touch screen...
Dual analog is soooooo retro that's not even funny anymore!
They are supported.

I did not know that. Thanks for the link. You learn something new everyday...

I like the way you think.
The animations look pretty stiff and twitchy and the textures need more polishing, but the premise and some of the Upad features look cool.
The words are probabaly in Brittish, people

@Pineconn
That just blew my mind.
Still a ridiculous name, but at least now I know why/makes sense.

I do not disagree, haha. It certainly is absurd, but at least not something Ubi made up! :p

Cool I can't wait for this game
