SLU? Eh, probably not but there's nothing that interests me. Where's my Wario DAMMIT?!
Lola's Fruit Shop is a must-buy, trust me on this one
Two 3DS download games?? The same week? WOW!... But no VC...
"You're such a helper!"
I thought Nintendo Power said there was going to be something great coming out this week? Consider me disappointed.
@Laharl-KOTNW
Maybe they meant Double Dragon.
But yeah, let down week.
I hope when all the Wii VC games move to the Wii U e-shop they get a price cut. Genesis games are only $3 on Steam, Nintendo needs to at least try to be a little bit competitive. I'd buy more if they were cheaper.
$3 NES
$5 SNES/Genesis
$4 Turbo graphics
$8 N64
This would move more downloads and make them more money.
Double Dragon 2? One of the best games ever released on a home console?
SOLD, my good sirs! SOLD!
And I agree that pricing for VC games needs to come down for most games.
$3 - NES/SMS/TG16/C64
$5 - VCA
$6 - SNES/Genesis/TGCD
$8 - NG/SCD/N64/SS
$10 - NGC/DC
I can't believe they thought Order Up was worth $10. It looks and sounds like a $2 iPhone game. I don't think doing it in 3D justifies an $8 premium. I kept reading updates about this, so I actually thought it was going to be something worthwhile. If that was a pet project of a Nintendo employee, it never would have seen the light of day. I think NIntendo should create a new sort of quality seal and only bestow it on games that they are proud to promote. Maybe that would encourage third party e-shop developers to go the extra mile.
YES! Finally, after all these years. I have been waiting for Double Dragon II since day one!
The problem is that Nintendo sees Order Up as one of those games that would be worth the 'quality seal'. If I'm remembering correctly, they held back the release (it was supposed to be out last week, or earlier?) so they could 'do more promotion for it within the eShop'. I'm in agreement with you, but obviously, Nintendo saw this game as something more than a $2 iPhone game.
Nothing this week justifies a buy in my book. But then again we did just get Mega Man X2 last week so i guess it all evens out in that end.
