That's nice...I guess. Safety is important (and blocking those video game pirates is important too)

Where's my update where I can play custom music on my 3DS Menu.

I can only dream.

Still waiting on that wallpaper update. Even if it's only for the background on the top screen.

3DS is unhackable. Come at it bro, take this post as a challenge. All you basement dwellers trying to steal games, do it if you can. DO IT. MAKE MY DAY.

One day, there will be something of use. Like the ability to pick the color for your folders. Or a Mii Maker update which adds various new hair colors, skin colors, shirt colors, pants colors, hairstyles, etc. You know, basic stuff that should already be there.

@Victini

No system is unhackable. And this update will slow them down as much as a brick wall slows down the Juggernaut.

Well, you must admit that it's taking a lot more time than with the DS, or the GBA. I don't remember the time it took to hack the Wii... but I don't think it was very long. Well, we'll see. But I doubt it'll happen soon.

No system except the 3DS. Once again I say, COME AT IT BRO IF IT'S SO HACKABLE. :D

I don't even think DSiWare has been hacked yet, certainly not eShop or 3DS retail.

DSiWare was hacked before. The game that was used as an exploit was taken off the DSi Shop though.

No system is unhackable. Once a security flaw has been found it WILL be hackedé Such is the way of all electronic devices. Get your head back from the clouds.
DSIware has been hacked once, but nintendo closed the gap. So far, little to none progress has been made because they're more interested in hacking the 3DS. Which will be done eventually. So far, the only thing we can do is accessing it's RAM to modify the words. Nothing more, and then again, it doesn't count as an exploit.
So nother progress has been made, but it will be made eventually.

Of course it's taking a lot more time. Because this time, Nintendo isn't messing around.
The PS3 wasn't hacked on launch, even. In fact, it was believed to be an 'unhackable system'. And yet, a security flaw was eventually found and it was hacked in a massive scale. To the point where the private key of the PS3 AND the PSP were found.

Ofc, I'm not saying that this'll happen to Nintendo. What I'm saying is that this system will eventually be hacked.
