I don't understand the point of the update option if it doesn't work.
@ridleysaria Nintendo had it working at one point and then it didn't. I don't know what their issue is.
It has always worked. Worked with MSF update, and most of the other NES updates.
It's more that most of these updates are minor and don't do anything. So you don't get prompted. I assume these two got uploaded early and would normally alert us when they actually went on sale.
No these particular updates are major and there's not exactly a problem on Nintendo's end.
Here's the thing, we're kinda sneaking around to find these updates. When Zelda 1 comes out properly next week, anyone who hasn't updated yet will get the prompt to do so.
So it's not so much the updates prompt is broken, you're just downloading them before Nintendo intends to inform people.
So it also seems that NES Golf Open will be a part of the 8-bit Retro Summer thing.
