Been sitting comfortably at platinum status for a little while now
I've been platinum for quite some time now... so no big deal for me. I however unlike some people don't have any codes to put in.
Also @Cassidy since when can you choose rewards from past years. You either have a special power or made this up or were mistaken. There is no choice for previous years it's just the current gold/plat. Though you can choose either if your platinum. Though only gold if your gold. But why would you ever choose the gold? It's calendars every year isn't it? Meh to that.
Gold has a choice between a calendar and a prize that's supposedly less cool than the platinum

Been Platinum for a while now, excited to see what we'll get this year (maybe the 8 bit Mario pillow? It's cool but it kind of sucks that it won't be a surprise if we're really just going to get Japan's reward from the year before). Sucks that I had to spend my coins from 2 years ago though, since I was intending to save them for something I really wanted. Ended up getting Game and Watch Ball, since I thought that was pretty cool (still not sure why we don't get cool things like that Link statue...). And it also sucks that they're reducing the Coin value of some games. Yes it was kind of cheap that you could pay $20 for an old game and get 50+ coins but it made me happy and would get me to buy some games I may not ordinarily want.
Would be cool if the prize was something NOT Mario. Seriously, Nintendo's kinda been skimping out on anniversaries for their other franchises.
It makes me sad that I know they might not do something or Metroid, but it would be nice to see some Zelda-style prize.
Finishing off the year with 1970 coins, thought I might break 2000 but, maybe next year.
finally I can register stuff again. I got so many registration slips. I'll probably hit 600 again before years end.
It's my first year ever participating, so I had a back-catalogue of coins. I've got Platinum status, so I hope there's some good prizes to choose from.
I swore, you could get Punch-Out!: Doc's Training (whatever it was called) as a Platinum award anytime you wanted.

Don't care if I blew by the 600 limit, I wanted the Blue DS 9 cart. and rainbow stylus case.
I hope the Plat. rewards is cool, not much hope for "useful".
First time getting Platinum, hopefully it's something awesome.
Also hope the store gets new items.
I finally started to register games this year. I am trying to get everything in before the point values drop. Still have a dozen more to enter, plus DS stuff.
I am holding anything that stays at 50 points or only drops to 40 for next year. I already have enough for Platnum assured.

It's too bad that you can't share coins. Then folks with tons of extra coins that don't carry over could help the folks who are almost at platinum but who won't make it in time.
on a related note, it would also be cool if Nintendo created a web page showing all potential Club Nintendo rewards for all territories and then let the Club Nintendo members in each region vote on which ones to feature during the coming year (including a write-in slot to suggest things.) i'm convinced that americans would want many of the japanese rewards instead of the american ones.

Have 290 coins, so I bought Mega Man X2 on Wii. I'm not seeing the promised 20 additional coins appearing on my account, so I'm getting worried. May have to buy something on the eShop tonight...

Got my first platinum last year, and I got platinum this year as well. Sitting on 620 coins and feeling good.
I barely got the 600 points this year, maybe I should buy more games and stuff for next year...
I've got exactly 600 coins and I still have 16 codes to redeem. Easiest elite status year I've ever had.
Can anybody verify how many (if any) points Virtual Console games get you, if they're Nintendo?

Bought a bunch of VC and eShop games to make up for it... Not seeing the coins showing up... getting angry.
so when is the ability to get the prizes going to show up?
first day and got 430. A friend gave me his 3DS code and I had all those games from the end of last year.
