Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed to feature NiGHTS characters, level

This information comes straight from the Summer of Sonic 2012 event, so it is indeed the real deal. Looks like there will be a few NiGHTS-themed cars, as well as a NiGHTS track to race on.

Not exactly NiGHTS themed cars... they blink. They're outright turned into the different vehicle forms themselves! Kinda comically creepy if you ask me but not the first time it's happened. I kinda hope NiGHTS appears untransformed for race victory animations though.

It's NiGHTS and Reala themselves that are the vehicles.

Gives me much more hope for Vectorman to join in.

That's cool, but they really should have had more of this stuff in the first one to begin with. It's a good game, but seriously, there's no reason they couldn't have included more old Sega characters and track theme, with the exception obviously of ToeJam and Earl.
