"We’ve added more tanks and weapons, and we’re going to add more maps and a new mode for solo players. We’re really keen to add a campaign mode so that while you can still enjoy the group play from the original arcade version, if you’re on your own you can play through missions. The Wii U GamePad is a very unique device, and we are trying to use its unique functions in a new way. I think in the near future we’ll be able to release some information about how we want to use the Wii U GamePad, but for now we’re just using it as a monitor." - Kunito
Tank! Tank! Tank! is one of those games that's going to get snubbed for its looks, which is a real shame. It's going to be blast for those that enjoy multiplayer and don't really care about graphics.

I'll buy it if it's an eshop title...if it's a retail title i hope it tanks
Is this a download Title? If so I will ignore it if not I will ignore it.. Yes this game looks like trash.
@LegendofSantiago
You just had to do it, didn't you?
I'll try it out if they do a demo. Then i'll decide.
Undeniably fun looking game is undeniably fun looking.
Show me that you've got the content for a retail release, or make it a digital store release.
This game actually does look like fun, but it's a kick in the balls that Namco Bandai has no plans to offer online multiplayer. A real shame. I can understand something like Nintendoland not having it, but Tank!Tank! Tank! should support an online mode.
This is hands-down one of the funnest games I've played in years. I tried it out on a whim at a Playdium in Toronto and it's a absolute BLAST!
It might just be my most hyped Wii U game and if they add online matches, this could be one of those titles you play well into the system's life.
However, if they do it as just a straight port of the arcade game, it wil be a hard sell at retail. I hope they add a lengthy campaign and more modes to make it worth the cash.
Either way, I'll be buying. This game is just good old fashioned fun with giant robot kaiju and exploding lasers. A new party game king.
@Hiltz
Where did you read that? Are you sure they aren't doing online? Damn. This would be a sick online game.
Seriously... why even BOTHER with this game? Just cancel it and bring something good and unique for the WiiU god damn it!
If it's not an eshop title I won't even consider purchasing this thing.
oh no a game that is fresh is so terrible
i hope it bombs because it is a great thing for people to lose their jobs because i didnt like their title
i hope the wii u never gets more games and they die!!!!!!!!!!
noooo
Pretty much what everybody said. If it's not a downloadable game = no buy. If it has no online multiplayer modes = no buy.
I'd buy it
This actually looks pretty fun, although hard pressed to buy if retail, I would say downloadable.
So far the game doesn't look to justify a full retail price... And the lack of an on-line mode seems pretty pretty dumb, so even less reason to spend much money on it.
There's no online?
Dammit.
I'll buy it anyway. I'm a fan of blowing shovel up.
Yo, GoNintendo? Y U Censor?
I don't think Namco Bandai has confirmed whether or not T!T!T! will offer online multiplayer. However, the game's E3 press release did not mention it and now we hear from the game's producer about what additional content we can expect from the game and yet again, there's no mention of adding an online multiplayer mode.
Sorry but no. It's a terrible looking game and they should be criticized for it. Just like they we're criticized for the N64 looking racing game they made for the Gamecube.
I'm just gonna go out on a whim and say that it sounds like you're saying you've never played it before. It's a game being ported from arcades, and the arcade game is actually AWESOME. Unless you're being sarcastic (a tone lost on the internet), I think you should save your criticism until you've actually tried it.
Make it eShop with online and I am getting it! It actually looks like a blast!
I've been doing what I can to pimp this title, it's going to be pretty fun and I want a good online(I thought it was confirmed somewhere it did, like in a developer video or something) community.
Either way, people saying it's only worth it as a download title need a reality check.
unlike many genre , this would be playable online , so ...... why not namco ? Is it what smash bros money buy? what a joke
