Tomorrow Corporation's 'Little Inferno' coming to Wii U

Now this is the type of indie news we want to hear. Tomorrow Corporation, which just so happens to be the team behind World of Goo, is bringing their new title Little Inferno to Wii U. The official website for the game has been updated with a Wii U logo. That makes Wii U the only console/portable to get the game!

Check out more details on the game here (thanks Odnetnin!)

All right, Gabler...

You know how much I like you, so you'd better deliver on this one. Even though that was one of the freakin' weirdest trailers I've ever seen, I trust that you have a great concept. Please let it be so.

That was kind of creepy. But hopefully it will be a good game.

you know something? WiiU digital launch game lineup is looking pretty sweet. It's great to see developers who sided with Wii continuing the trend on WiiU, plus new devs are showing up too :)

@Shaanyboi This.

Still, Cloudberry Kingdom, Chasing Aurora, Bit Runner and this will make for some good early Wii eStore titles!

Indie titles are only gonna get stronger and more widespread this coming gen I think. :)

Its good to see that they're sticking with Nintendo. I mean WOG sold very well on WiiWare, they admitted as much themselves, by saying that it sold better than the PC version of the game did. So its nice to see that they're willing to make the jump to the Wii U with their next game, and not jump ship to the 360/PS3 instead.

Right now, it being Wii U only on the console side of things is cool, but I wonder if it will stay that way, or go multiplatform. It would be cool to have another major Wii U eShop exclusive, to go along with CloudBerry Kingdom, and Chasing Aurora. Nintendo really seems to be courting these indie developers early, to have thing ready for launch. It looks like we're getting a promising Wii U eShop launch line-up as well.

Hilariously disturbing trailer.

But man, Wii U's eShop is starting to get some pretty heavy hitters in time for launch already!

Maybe this won't be so bad.

I love these guys! World of Goo was tremendous!

i really liked world of goo , especially when it was only available on wiiware . Because i do think the wii pointer is a better , more amusing solution and the cost wasn't an issue.
So i am delighted it's going to be on wii u also .
I'm glad i watched the trailer , it doesn't reveal much , or anything really . I'd buy the portals and quantun conumdrum if they were on wii u too .

Very interesting. Wish it at least hinted at what the gameplay would consist of, though.

Just saying, but World of Goo was REALLY disturbing too.

World of Goo was a bit creepy, but this seems to EXTREMELY creepy. Not really thinking I'll be interested.

Well, this is just the video. Like World of Goo, the cutscenes really didn't meld with the actual game of connecting blocks of goo.

I thought that art style looked familiar.

I just plopped down 15 bucks to maybe be a beta tester. Whatever on this game, World of Goo was worth $30. I'll be super interested to see more. Never having heard of Tomorrow Corporation is was cool to immediately recognize 2D Boy.

Well, that was certainly something special. I'm interested in seeing what sort of gameplay is featured here. I loved World of Goo, so I'm expecting a lot.

Great news for Wii U. And yeah World of Goo works best on Wii from all platforms. And I agree WoG was disturbing but it was also charming. This trailer was more than disturbing. The inferno and the black white brings to me Holocaust connotations and I wish they fix that to something... ..
Cool to see the logos. I wonder if Wii U needed some sort of icon. Why not a little Mario a star/flower or a little Link to represent the console rather than the name of the console. You know a logo. So next to Wii U there is an Apple the windows logo and some sort of penguin.

Yeah! I thought of that too! xD

Seriously, this seal my conviction: the WiiU looks like it'll be a VERY indie-friendly console... Hell, Cloudberry Kingdom is a game made by people that never made any game before. Must I say that it's going against Nintendo's own minimal requirements to become a licensed dev on their consoles?
And Tomorrow Corporation proudly says on their website that they have no office. A requirement for becoming a Nintendo Developer broken. Again.
So now Nintendo allows some teams to break the rules if the game is interesting enough? A first for Nintendo. I like this. VERY MUCH.

I pre-ordered it so I doubt I'm getting the Wii U version.

Still, hell yeah.

There are also people who worked on Henry Hatsworth (which was also great) involved in this.
