Much like Raphael’s quest to find his father in the new Nintendo 3DS video game Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure from SEGA, StreetPass NYC invites all to snoop around the Museum of the Moving Image (3601 35th Ave, Astoria, New York 11106-1226 http://www.movingimage.us) this Friday, July 13th starting at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The group will be located at the café on the first floor past the entrance way. Entry is free of charge. Join others in collecting StreetPass hits, exploring the exhibits (such as the playable video game arcade history display) as well as playing fun multiplayer Nintendo 3DS games such as Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and the main game of the hour Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure.
At 5:30 PM, StreetPass NYC will draw a raffle for five lucky contestants to enter a Nintendo 3DS Photo Competition. You must have a Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo 3DS AR Card Pack to enter. Each contestant will receive a set of instructions to take photos of the various exhibits. By 6:00 PM, the Staff Judges will review the photos and critique them on 3D effect, creativity, and technical skill.
The winners will earn a custom large pen stylus of their color choice and the first place will win the entire 3 Disk Rhythm Thief soundtrack. All contestants chosen will earn one pack of Kid Icarus AR Boosters.
