I got mine pre-ordered in the Netherlands for €183 which is 143 pounds or 223 dollars.
Thought it would be 200 euros so I'm really pleased.
Only 10-20 euro more than the original 3DS.

In Denmark the cheapest price i have found is at Elgiganten.dk for 1799 DKK which is about 241 euro if converted directly.

i hate that we have to pay so much in Denmark :(

@link2metroid

Yeah tell me about it, the only reason why I'm getting my XL from there is because of the trade in cash on my card and a gift voucher. I'm going to see if they'll price match blockbusters price.

As much as Game will get slated for its price, one quick look on Game.co.uk will show you that it's available for £174.99.

I don't know where the source of the original post has come from. I shall be picking it up from Game which is where I buy all my hardware.

What people forget about a store which specialises in only games is that they only sell one type of product. If you look at the likes of a supermarket like Tesco or Sainsburys, they can afford to sell games and hardware at a lower price because they can make up the profit on thousands of products elsewhere. Game is now the only dedicated games retailer and doesn't have anything else to make up its profit margins, therefor games can still be priced higher. However, I can say with almost 100% certainty that the xl will not be £199.99.
