Last I heard, no platforms were announced for Activision's upcoming Deadpool game. While no press releases have come out, we did hear that producer Pierre Leroux confirmed a Wii U version while at a Comic-Con panel. We don't have any video or audio from that event, so we'll keep it marked rumor just to be safe. Thanks to Felipe for the heads up!

I kind of agree. I'm pretty "meh" about this game. It oozes generic. But then again I'm not very familiar with the character so I'm indifferent I guess.
They mentioned it during the panel at Comic Con that it was coming to Wii U.

Seriously, he's like a Wolverine with guns and katanas instead of claws, that says stupid jokes and break the fourth wall instead of grunting.

-Super regeneration (actually better than Wolverine's)
-Breaking the fourth wall
-Must un-shut-up-able man alive.

No no no no no, pay attention. A guy in a wheelchair asked if he can play the Kinect game which is the Avengers game, she told him that he could play it on the Wii U.

Seems a little inspired by Travis Touchdown. I have zero interest.
I like Deadpool a little, but I'd be a little concerned that that 'hilarious' one-liner he makes when you shoot a guy in the crotch will get a lot less hilarious the 523rd time you have to hear it during gameplay. I got sick of him in MvC3 for the same reason. There's only so much 'PINEAPPLE SURPRISE!!' one man can take.
We'll see. Could be interesting if done well.
Where did so much Deadpool hate come from? "inspired by Travis Touchdown"? Deadpool is way older than that. I'm actually following this game just for the great comedy it has... we haven't seen clear gameplay yet.
So do so few know who Deadpool is? Never read the comic? Never seen Wolverine:Origins? Deadpool is awesome! I just hope they do it justice.
