Well, it doesn't say 31 years of power-ups that Mario used on Bowser. It just says 31 years of power-ups. Bowser's just in the picture because that's what the artist chose to depict to be on the receiving end of all the Marios, but it's all about the different power-ups Mario has used over the years. Don't over think these things man.
Are you saying why two bunny ears as in, why did they decide to go with that for a power-up? Or are you saying why two bunny ears as in, what power-up is that from?

I think he believes the wing cap to look to similar to the bunny hat and is confusing the two. I did as well at first. The wings look more like ears to me in the top one.
Also... no fireflower from SML2? I liked that lil feather in his cap. Would have been cool to see him team up with the other red/white fireflower mario.
Very awesome! The only ones I don't see are the SML2 Fire Flower with the feather in his cap, and Mario on Lakitu's cloud, which is as much a "power up" as the hammer or Kuribo's Boot.
@MoldyClay
The bunny ears that make him fly (after eating a carrot) are from Mario Land II, and Bowser's not in that game. And that's just one example.
Even powerups from Galaxy and its sequel were not really used against Bowser, just in levels leading up to the final boss fight.
This needs to be on Teefury
Haha, poor Bowser. You could even double this with Luigi thrown into the mix. And there there are the different colored Yoshis from SMW
31 years? He had a 25th anniversary game in 2010.
No Gold Flower? Pffth, fail!
Joking aside, this is extremely awesome. But yeah, Luigi should have been there. ^^
This reminded me of another, similar picture, but then I realized they're both drawn by the same dude!
@MasterofMonster
I see Gold Mario.
Somebody doesn't know their Nintendo/Mario history. I'll give you a hint: the Mallet swinging Mario. You figure out the rest.
@FrenchFryGuy
Except the hammer/mallet wasn't used against Bowser.
And I feel that it's silly to consider that a power-up in the first place (even though it technically is).
Should have had Cranky Kong (DOHOHO) in the picture running too if they're gonna play that game.

Gaah, that's true! My bad, my bad~ ^^

That's pretty cool. Didn't realize Mario had so many power ups. They need to make a game that uses all of them.
