While Capcom recently said that Western Monster Hunter fans will hear news 'veeeeery soon', we're left to wait and cross our fingers. Well that gets boring after awhile, so we're going to take a look at a rumor about the franchise!
Someone with supposed inside info claims that Monster Hunter is indeed coming over to the states yet again. The thing is, they aren't sure if Monster Hunter 3G will be coming our way. Monster Hunter 4 seems to be a lock, but we might end up getting both 3DS outings. Either way, I hope Capcom comes in and makes that official announcement soon!

Yeah, as much as I have newfound love for MH, I can't see myself doubledipping with 3G. Hell, I still have to beat Tri offline, and I've barely touched online.

imo releasing 3g would be like another dlc fiasco , skip that one , add online to mh4 and be happy about the 200.000 us+eur sales . It's silly but we are in fps land now , any of those would sell way better , and the so called hardcore will flock to those and ridiculed any other projects with the "too japanese" meme , "cheap" , "should be sold for a quarter of the price to reach a 100.000 top unit
Never have played a MH game before. Whichever gets released first, that'll be the one I'll start with!

I REALLY hope they don't skip on 3 G. Considering how long it'll be before 4 comes out, there's absolutely still time. I find that most of all it's people who aren't altogether familiar with the series saying to skip 3 G. The G versions are the best iterations in the entire series by virtually every metric there is, you're just not a Monster Hunter fan if you don't want the G version. I played the hell out of Tri and so did my friends and all of us are more than ready for a game like Tri but with almost triple the monsters, weapons, armors, locations, and options. It just seems like a flat-out disservice to western fans to not localize the G versions.

3G is much different than Tri and it looks fantastic on the 3DS (check out youtube). I really want both of them and will be disappointed with just one. Also we need a reason to own the circle pad pro.
I really wanted to get into the series but the way Capcom behaves these days has led me to not want these at all.

It's going to take forever to get 4 in the west, so they definitely have time for 3G. If they release it now, with the current state of the 3DS game library, it's definitely going to sell. Plus it's going to get awesome reviews cause it's like the best MH ever and it could be advertised as a brand new game rather than just a Tri remake. Because that's what it is basically, it's a brand new game. People who call it a remake just don't know what they are talking about.
i second that, i bought a psp just for more MH. I would fully welcome 3G on 3ds with my ccp, as for the xl3 ppl... ppptttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
