Out of all the giveaways and contests that we've had on the site, I think this could be the very best one. The opportunity came out of nowhere and the prize is being given away later this week! What's one hell of a quick turnaround, but I'm sure you guys are ready to take part.
Another Wii U Experience Event is taking place this week in Atlanta, Georgia, running from Aug. 2nd to 4th. If you're itching to have a go at the Wii U before it launches, these Experience Events are the only way to do so (for now). There have already been some events around the US, but now we're very happy to offer you a chance at checking out the event for yourself. Did we say that you can bring 2 friends along as well?!
WE ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY NEED YOUR ENTRY INTO THIS CONTEST BY 11:59 PM EAST COAST TIME THIS WEDNESDAY. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ENTRIES AFTER THAT POINT IN TIME.
So how do you enter for a chance to win an invite? All you have to do is send an email to GoNintendoAtlanta@gmail.com. Seriously, that's all you have to do! An email sent to that address will automatically enter you in the running. One entry per person, please!
Transportation to the event is all on you. All we are offering are the actual invites to the event. In other words, only enter this contest if you are able to get yourself to Atlanta!
There are 10 invites to give away. As I said, you'll be able to bring friends along for the event as well. Winners will be picked completely at random. When the winners are chosen, I'll email you at the address you entered with. From there on out, we'll sent you up with an event coordinator to get you those invites! An announcement will be made on the site once the winners have been chosen.

Two years ago when i learned that the 3ds kiosks wouldnt be coming to Atlanta i was extremely dissapointed. I literally live 10 minutes away from Atlanta so you can imagine my excitement when i heard the wii u experience was coming here! Ive entered two contests for tickets already but have had no luck but third times the charm! btw does anyone know anything about club nintendo members being invited? Ive heard that club nintendo members have been getting emails with invites. Ive been a club nintendo member for 3 years but havent recivied an invite. Do they just choose randomly what club nintendo members they want to invite?
Good luck to all who enter, I went to the Chicago event, and it was a lot of fun, like a Nintendo fan's own personal E3. Just remember to play the single player games you want to play first, those lines get long and stay that way.

if the event didnt happen so suddenly I would have been more confident on getting the trip to ATL. not sure if driving 8 hours there and back (from orlando) is worth it...

Has there been any mention of where the event is going to be? I already have invites, but don't actually know where I'm going. Nintendo said it was TBD, like a week ago.
I would have entered if this was a bit closer. There is no way I'm driving 13 hours just for something like this.

I'm still waiting to hear about where the location is too. For some reason I could see them waiting until the start of the event on Thursday to announce it.

Wow, that'd be great, but travel alone would wipe my bank account dry.
I'll post impressions here and GAF if I win (even though my impressions will probably be redundant, haha).
I'd be all over this if I could make the trip. It's 14 hours away and has tolls. It's just not worth it for something I'll get to experience myself eventually anyway. That gas money and most likely money for staying somewhere (that's a long drive to do something for maybe an hour or two, and waiting in lines) could go towards the actual console itself.

Good luck, everyone! I went to the D.C. event last week, and it was a blast. They really ran a great event, and they kept the crowd going.

I won tickets from another website. the email i got says 13100 atlantic drive is the address, but thats not a real address. Could someone please tell me where the event is. i plan on going tomorrow.
I had the same trouble earlier tonight. Fortunately a hotel attendant knew about the address snafu and pointed me in the right direction.
The event is in Atlantic Station on the left side of Dillard's (assuming it won't move overnight) which is on Market Street. If you're entering Atlantic Station via the 17th Street bridge, take a right on Market Street to find parking underneath, then head back up to Dillard's.
