Replaying old games is what the virtual console is all about, and Megaman 2, the game that is regarded as the best in the series, is a welcome addition to the eshop
I will buy every one of these. If they put them out as 3D Classics, I'd be willing to pay $8 I'm sure. These games never, ever get old for me, and being able to play it in short bursts on the road or in bed is completely worth it.

Good point, though having played through the entire GB series, I remember II as being by far the worst. Unlike Wily's Revenge, it copied levels directly from NES (instead of modifying them and/or making them original), and it played terribly. I could probably skip right to III.
The first E3 that the 3DS was shown off, there were reports of 3D footage of classic games like Punch-Out and Megaman 2. I've wanted a 3D Classics edition of this game for so long, but I can live with getting a VC version for a portable. Come on, Capcom/Nintendo!
Why make a new Mega Man game when you can just make money off of the old!

c'mon NoA and Capcom USA, you're screwing up here
@Waluigi Rule #1, Japan is always first...with a few exceptions.

Did NA ever get 1?

How about the love of my child-hood, MegaMan 2, please?
Err, the Game Boy one.
