sounds about right to me.
Has any of the recent Spiderman games been good?
I thought Shattered Dimensions was pretty fun, had some problems but it was still worth playing.
And apparently the 360 and PS3 version of The Amazing Spider-Man fared a lot better since they have the open world NYC aspect.
@CHAOSDRAGON88I heard the most recent DS and Wii ones were garbage, though I've heard good things about the older Spider-Man games on DS.
Surprised they didn't aim for getting a NSMB2 review in.
@CHAOSDRAGON88
I loved Shattered Dimensions and made a point to complete it 100% on the Xbox 360.
Heard people liked Web of Shadows, and that Edge of Time was good but felt rushed. So yeah. Beenox has been making good ones.
The Last Story 9.0 ... GET HYPE!
The "next issue" preview mentioned it'll be next month's issue when we get it.
Anyway, I do have this issue already so if anyone wants a blurb or two I can type 'em out. The KH3D and The Last Story reviews are both four pagers with a good amount of information on gameplay.
I didn't think Spider-Man on 3DS was that bad. I would give it a 6. I am a Spider-Man fan though.
I was going to say I'm surprised that Kingdom Hearts only managed an 8, but then I saw that The Last Story got a 9 and it made more sense.
Go buy the Last Story people! It's full of awesome!
Out of the three adventure games, the most perfect one is probably Xenoblade because the Last Story's technical flaws holds it back (occasional framerate drop, stiff animation sometimes). But it definitely has something special. Don't give up on that game, combat is excellent, the gameplay is brilliant and full of new ideas, the story is very cool, the graphics are among the best on the console and the general atmosphere and the music are just awesome. Seriously, for Uematsu fans, it's his best work since forever. A bit like FFIX in the sense that it feels fresh and he tries a couple of new things, but it's still familiar and helps to get that atmosphere only Uematsu is capable of creating.
People, really, we want Sakaguchi, Uematsu, Mistwalker and AQ (now Marvellous AQL) to give it another shot, because it really feels like a sequel could correct the small mistakes and truly shine.
SO GO BUY IT !!!!!
