I've lost all hope for any game being developed by n-Space. Heroes of Ruin went from something I was kinda interested in to something I'd never want to play in my life. I'm afraid to see what they've done to RollerCoaster Tycoon
This game isn't nearly as bad as they made it out to be. The actual gameplay and combat while not something new, is a far cry from bad and the cutscenes while not really anything to write home about look a lot better when you turn on the 3D. Also the environments look a lot better then most other games with randomly generated environments, especially on the 3DS screen.
It does however have some game killing problems though, like not being able to replay new versions levels you completed.
Also the "no need to dust off your 3DS yet" comment made me feel the reviewer was a little bit biased going in.

...and a comment like that would totally be reflected in the score, right?
I'm not seeing the bias here. I'm seeing a dumb comment made by the reviewer, and even then, it's not that dumb considering the 3DS isn't exactly brimming with tons of amazing titles to play just yet.
