Pitfall! iOS app pilfers a Legend of Zelda noise (UPDATE)

UPDATE - Turns out this noise was actually coming from the Tweet app and not Pitfall itself. Shift the blame from Pitfall and Activision over to the developer of that tweet app!

This should be recognizable to those that have played a lot of the original Legend of Zelda...

Eh, it's just a couple notes going upward. It's quiet possibly coincidence, IMO, and even if it isn't it's not something I'd really notice or care about by nature of how generic the sound is.

A lot of the mobile game apps uses the Super Mario "Coin" sound effect. But yeah, typical 8-bit sounds reused for small games today.

Generic? It IS the exact sound, impossible to mistake if you've ever heard it before. This can't be a coincidence, it is to that point exact.

Isn't that just the users own setting? Cause he used the built in Twitter feature and I don't think third-party apps have control over that more than where to activate it and what link to put in.
