Internal flash memory? That doesn't sound good. How much are they going to give us? I don't want to resort to using External HDDs unless I absolutely have to.

Think last i heard it has 8gb internal flash. Which isnt a bad value to start on. Supports SD cards and all external HDD's (which are so cheap nowadays)
i like the pro controller, cause if gives you options.
i mean its just like the classic controller with the wii, you don't have to buy it but if you do, you have another way of playing your games.
What concerns me is that in all the marketing around the stores, there is not a single piece of evidence that there is a black Wii U on the way. Its all white, so who knows maybe america will get both colours at launch.
I will attempt to get a cleaner shot of the specs as well
This is actually the first shot I've seen with the white advertised. Everything we've seen until now has been black. I'll be shocked if both colors aren't available at launch.
I just really want to know what will come packaged with the hardware. I'd love to see Nintendo Land but its hard to tell at this point

Hum, I wouldn't put much money on it's importance. If you look carefully, the game boxes doesn't have the real design, with the blue bar at the top.
Also, something that make me anxious... Am I the only one that have trouble discerning New Super Mario Bros' boxes from those of Nintendo Land? The color schemes on both looks awfully similar...

Personally I see it for multiplayer uses. My friends are gonna need to play Smash Bros with something, and I know they won't want to use the Wii-mote and nunchuck combo. So better to have it around.

Yup, I don't understand it either. It has the same buttons as the game pad.
It may be the only way to play "symetrical" local multiplayer if nintendo decides not to sell standalone gamepads for now (also WiiU wont support more than two of them, and when it does the framerate will go shovel, so it will be necessary to have at least one of them for some games)
Also there is the ergonomics thing, and having more options to play games.

Then you never played games like UFC, Fifa etc. Also, why do you "hate it"? It's optional, it's not mandatory, some people (me included) will buy it in order to play games multiplayer games like Rayman Legends, ZombiU etc. Actually, you NEED a pro controller in order to play those games (multiplayer).
And if I am tired of the Gamepad, I can simply use the Pro Controller in order to play games like Fifa, COD, Racing games and some other games. It also has analog L2/R2 buttons, which is way better for racing games.
The WiiU's Gamepad is not for everyone, you know? Some people just doesn't like it (and I can respect that) even if it has all the buttons needed some people doesn't like the shape, size etc.
Still hoping that Nintendo changed the digital triggers to analog. Doesn't make sense not to have analog if they plan on putting Gamecube games on the Virtual Console in the future.
As someone who has actually held and played with it, the Pro Controller is not useless but one of THE most comfortable controllers I've ever used. Even more comfortable than the Xbox 360 and Classic Controller Pro, the latter of which it puts to shame. Don't knock something unless you've actually held it. I played Rayman Legends at the Wii U Experience with it so its not like I'm BSing either.
something else i noted, the eb games nearest to me, not where i took the photos from, has need for speed most wanted box arts for wii u.. though as far as i know it has not even been hinted at for wii u

It's been known that if you want to expand, you plug in a USB drive.

All stores need to put do this. Its time to raise awareness.
Lol, they think Nintendoland will sell as a standalone game...
(it will)
man I hate that Pro controller. Seems so useless.
This.
I don't know why people think that it won't sell. I thought Wii Sports Resort and Japan's Wii Sports proved them wrong.
But anyway, I still don't think its standalone, at least not in America or Europe.

The Pro doesnt have analog triggers. The look like, but they arent (otherwise nintendo would go the extra mile to make the gamepad's too)

So you can't play with the Wii Remote controllers if they're not plus? I saw that coming, specially with the TLOZ minigame from Nintendo Land...
@sergiomonty Nope, it says 'Wii Remote [or Wii Remote Plus] controllers'.
Much as I'd have liked Wii Remotes to be phrased out entirely now, this makes good business sense.
Was I the only one who went 'Whoa!' at that shot of an entire wall of Wii U space and games? Very impressive.
Now if only every game store could do that...
the wii u pro controller is dope. i played with it at e3 and it feels incredible. i won't need the stupid corded classic controllers anymore!
"Nearly all Wii games"... so it's not 100% compatible then?
they say nearly all, because they cant say 100% everything will work.
