As I said yesterday, GameStop is promoting the Wii U but not taking preorders. When can we expect that to change? Rumor has it that a managers' meeting is set to take place on the 28th of this month. If that's true, we can expect the Wii U preorders to open soon thereafter. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I'm sure the Wii U will come up there, but it should be mentioned that there is a manager's meeting at this time of year EVERY year, usually in Las Vegas.
Well, the good thing about GameStop waiting here in NA is that they'll have information on how many units they'll be receiving. This should help minimize potential problems with overselling preorders and breaking the hearts of gamers come release day.
Won't happen until Nintendo has whatever event they plan for the price reveal.
