If time has stopped, then the world had to have stopped spinning. Couldn't Superman go around the world real fast to start it again?
I hate Superman.

Yeah Superman is extremely over powered. DC Comics tried to fix that with the "New 52" Comic Book Reboot. But Superman is still just too powerful, not to mention he works at a successful modern day news paper company.
