The creator of the game actually was one the people who developed some of the coding, scripts and character elements that are found in today's RPGS makers accessible to everyone. The PC version starts out in a 8-bit world then you enter a cave where it morphs into a 3D environment. And you go back and forth between the worlds as Death tries to fix the chaos. It is actually pretty crafty. I believe they only release 8-bit coverage to show how warped our perceptions are in today's society due our reliance on technology. And it makes sense it take that long to go to Wii U because it has be completely redone and it's easier get things approved through PSN and XBLA. Plus there is a approval process which takes longer depending on the company. And being Wii U hasn't been out as long as other two consoles. Making it a more difficult process.
