Indie developer BGG Productions is bringing their title Death's Apprentice to Wii U. The thing is, it's not coming our way until 2015. Something seems fishy about this project...

2015 if you watch the trailer you'll see it's a indy JRPG that very much rips of FF3(6) not to mention the trailer is made in power point.

Early 2013 for the 360 and PS3.

That's like, literally RPG Maker 2003 and it's making an heavy use of the graphic pack that COMES WITH IT. It's just an idiot making a random trailer with wishful thinking in it.

Bingo.

I messed around with RPG Maker 2000 quite a bit years ago and the first thing I noticed in this supposed "2015 game" were the stock characters from the game's default graphics package.

Maybe they're just being realistic. Remember how long it took Cave Story to come out? And did Night Sky ever get released?

Surely this must be a joke?

I played the PC version a year ago for Death's Apprentice. Actually the disc info has that it was developed in 1992 and remastered in 2010. The creator of the game actually was one the people who developed some of the coding, scripts and character elements that are found in today's RPGS makers accessible to everyone. The PC version starts out in a 8-bit world then you enter a cave where it morphs into a 3D environment. And you go back and forth between the worlds as Death tries to fix the chaos. It is actually pretty crafty. I believe they only release 8-bit coverage to show how warped our perceptions are in today's society due our reliance on technology. And it makes sense it take that long to go to Wii U because it has be completely redone and it's easier get things approved through PSN and XBLA. Plus there is a approval process which takes longer depending on the company. And being Wii U hasn't been out as long as other two consoles. Making it a more difficult process.

I don't know what to think of this.

I can't tell whether this is a troll job or a legitimate game.

Plus the Movie Maker cheapness of the trailer doesn't exactly help.

Either way, a game is a game. Hopefully they get their wish.

Sorry, but you're making this all up.

You've posted pretty much the same 'OMG this game is really awesome and technically fancy' comment on about half the sites the game was discussed on, yet you have absolutely zero evidence for your claims.

Please show me a Youtube video of the gameplay. A review. A guide. Some discussion of it from before 2012 in general. You can't. Why not? Because it doesn't exist.

I know exactly what you and your fellow astroturfers are up to.
