At least tis isn't gamestop only for once
Good, I hate having to drive out to GameStop just to get a Pokémon I'll never actually use.
Huh? But...they haven't even officially revealed Meloetta yet...
Man, it still feels weird how they've completely burned through all three event legendaries this generation in the space of a couple of months.
Wait a second... what other legendaries...? What'd I miss?
Well this wasn't supposed to happen.

Meloetta hasn't even been hinted at all by TPCI.
Seems like the ad company slipped out an ad that should be live at the end of September.
The ad should get pulled before tomorrow and Meloetta should be teased and revealed latter in the month.
My thought EXACTLY. That's so strange than we're getting Genesect first.
Well at least it is Wi-Fi MUCH better than having to go to the store.
They're probably waiting until the anime catches up over here to release Meloetta, I imagine.

Wow, they've really pushed the event legionaries out the door in a hurry. It looks like they're rushing to get to the next generation...
Generation 6, Fall 2012 for Japan. You heard it from me. (A international release date would be awesome.)

But yeah, they acted like Black/White was going to be forever, but this practically seals the deal that they are shoving it right out the window. I really didn't want a Gen 6 yet. Maybe some more spin-off padding (Ranger? Where are you bro?) but I guess this means we should be getting a proper 3DS Pokemon game soon.

Keldeo just happened and is still going on. Now we're getting Genesect, and we'll probably get Meloetta not long after.
Japan got Keldeo and Meloetta at the same time with the most recent movie (forget if June or July) and then Genesect last month.

I'm surprised to see so many people complaining about Gamestop events, considering most of the events aren't Gamestop anymore anyway. And even when they are, they re-release them over Wifi a month or so later (this happened with the Shiny Pichu and Legendary Beasts a while back).
Every Gamestop event since at least Platinum has been a Wifi event too.
Victini, Mewtwo, Ash's Pikachu, Reshiram/Zekrom, Darkrai, another Victini... all of those were NOT Gamestop, but Wifi. We also got Shiny Pichu, Mew, the stone to get Latios/Latias, and so on via Wifi as well.
The only Gamestop things for BW were Keldeo and the first batch of Celebi+Shiny Beasts, but they were redistributed over Wifi. There were also a few TRU events (Zoroark, anime eggs).
If Generation VI is to come quicker...it'll be at the end of next year for Japan. They like to spend months hyping up new generations so first sign of it will be in Aprilish

That's what I think/hope. I really love the time of seeing new Pkmn and game stuff every months. ^^
Still, feels like it was only yesturday Zoroark was teased. D:
There have been reports in the UK that Genesect was going to be distributed by GAME for BW2's launch, but this makes me think that maybe we'll be getting it over WiFi and GAME will be distributing Meloetta instead. I hope so, anyway.
Can't believe Genesect is coming so fast. I definitely have to get B&W 2 as fats as I can. I'm happy it's over wi fi so I can do it at home. I also thought Meloetta would come first as she's before Genesect in the Pokedex. I guess the 6th gen is coming fast.
So is this a Black/White or Black/White 2 event? or both?
edit: Oh yeah now i see, it's a BW2 event... good thing I already preordered my White 2.
