With how much they are showing Yoshi, I really hope he can go to any level with you. I mean, Nintendo has to know by now that having him as a level exclusive was a big letdown in NSMBWii. They wouldn't show him off this much only to do that again would they?

Sigh... they would.
Having him as a level exclusive wasn't the problem.
Having him in too little levels were.
In NSMBW, Yoshi was an afterthought. If you hack the game to play as him in any level, he's severely broken. In both ways. He can't swim, he screws up castles, he can't enter doors, you can't get to the end of world cutscene with him, or any levels that start you off jumping, if you spin jump off Yoshi, he breaks any cutscene in general, if you ground pound any bosses with him, they die, but the boss doesn't end, you could eat Iggy's Chain Chomp, and most of all, the game just flat out freezes. That game just wasn't designed for him.
Yoshi will appear way more often in NSMBU, so that's a plus.

I kind of agree with this. At the very least they should use a remade version of the music from the original SMW. That stuff was magic. It made the game what it was IMO. Along with the sound effects and the overall look of the game. NSMBU seems to have the look in certain levels, and the sound effects... all it needs is the music and I'll soil myself every time I play it.

I bet 5 bucks that the world map theme will be a remix of SMW's Main Overworld theme.
