After last week's crazy show, we get back into the regular format. Mom Brain handles music like a pro while the rest of us act like our usual, idiot selves!
I wonder... you can move the pictures(both sides) to the PC afterward, right? Then, as long as the dots lined up, couldn't you GB-cam-filter them both, and then put both of them back on the 3DS? It'd be kind of hard to get them to line up right if the dots are randomly generated, but it'd be really cool to see a 3D 'Gameboy Camera' effect! I might try it myself later, but it'll have to be much later..
Well, I don't want to spend all night on it, but I saved it back as an MP0 with StereoPhotoMaker, but I don't see it showing up on the 3DS unfortunately. Maybe there's a step I should have taken... I know it's possible, because people have made fake 3D screenshots for old 2D games doing roughly the same thing. Ah well, I'll try again later..
Well, I did it, but I can't say that my settings make it REALLY look like it's from the GB camera... the quality is actually too good. And it seems like the 3D effect, while completely in-tact, almost takes away from it looking look like it's actually from the GB camera. Although I did shrink one test-image down to the correct tiny-size, I probably should have brought it back as close to 640x480 in order to simulate the pixel-effect...so maybe there's still a little bit I could do with it, but as it is it looks too clear to be GB camera. *shrug* It'd also be better if I could play with the focus and make the 3D effect to be 'less' like you can with a native picture, but I'm not sure how to do that with an edited MP0...
dat pic of rmc is too good
I miss Gameboy Camera
Please bring it to the vc Nintendo, or make a sequel.
@war3190
I can't believe I traded mine in. I used to have the printer and a few rolls of paper too. You could print the pokemon data from the pokedex with it
I still have both, though I ran out of paper for the printer.
When I saw dsi for the first time, I immediately thought gameboy camera sequel!
I still am hoping it comes to the eshop. I can only dream...
I have 2 Gameboy cameras! The green and gold/Zelda.
Surprised there is no mode on the camera of the 3DS or DSi to run like a GB Camera.
How to fake a Game Boy camera image
