Is that a pre-order for North America? I only ask, as that seems like something Europe would get. I want to get the game, but this would make me pre-order it for sure...just wish I knew the release date...may pre-order both the Wii U and 3DS versions.

Rubber pencil stylus thing is cool... but I'd rather have his rooster hat to wear around the house XP (when you pre-order the Wii U version). Also that pencil just SCREAMS Drawn to Life when you combine it with the gamepad.

Thing is...I looked up both games on EBGames.ca, and they have the hat for both the Wii U and 3DS versions. I'd love the hat, but know I'd end up with the pink hat. Better luck waiting after the release, and see if anyone puts up the red hat on ebay (That's how I got the Mario gold coin and Gold Nunchuck (which was going for about 85-and up dollars, but lucked out and got it from someone who had 6 of them for 67$ each and with free shipping)
I'm hoping for a solid release date...cause that determines if I can preorder both. I have New Super Mario on preorder, but if Lego City comes out launch or close afterwards, will switch the order to that....plus have Code of Princess planned to get as well next month.

I'm pretty sure it's a launch title when the Wii U comes out. I want the hat and get the game eventually... but I only have so much money and already prioritized what games I want first. Who knows, they may let you choose your hat but I'd go with someone else over EB. I pre-ordered a Ratchet and Clank game that was supposed to have some bonus but didn't... I probably should've asked but I think I was nervous or something, idk. Plus I'll have enough to play over the next few months without adding more to the mix XP (Borderlands 2, NintendoLand, Rayman Legends, probably Playstation All Stars for Christmas, Pikmin 3, BioShock Infinite, Luigi's Mansion 2, and I already have like 5 Steam games I've barely played XD).
Outside of the cool pencil stylus pre-order bonus, it seems that people who own the Wii U version won't have much incentive to also buy the 3DS version. In addition to only having 3D effects in the cut scenes (and all the action on the bottom screen) I've read that the 3DS game features the same story and missions as the Wii U version. Why wouldn't they make the 3DS version unique so that people would buy both versions?
If there was an object editor in the 3DS version and you could trade objects wirelessly via Streetpass and over the Internet, that would make it worthwhile to re-purchase on 3DS after buying the Wii U version, but with no object editor and Streetpass functionality that only lets you see how other people solved a particular puzzle (and a lot of people don't even get many Streetpass hits) the 3DS version sounds like a rush job to get the same game out on multiple platforms to maximize overall sales. If they had taken the time to craft unique levels, to include the object editor, and to use 3D to make the world itself come alive (with main action on top screen) I think it would give the 3DS version a chance at much better sales and reviews over the long-term.
lol wow, freaking awesome. and you can use that on WiiU!

Really like the artwork, it's charming.
