Latest 3DS firmware update offers up fatal wound to flash carts

Looks like Nintendo may have finally made a move that can kill off piracy issues. Remember last week's firmware update that was for 'stability'? Turns out it also hit back hard at pirates. It blocks flash carts in such a way that manufacturers can't update their products. They have to design completely new ones. In other words, piracy for 3DS software still hasn't been pirated, and now Nintendo seems to have stopped any further changes. Or, at least, put a major roadblock in the way.
