Mario Party 4 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl is definitely tiring on the Game Grumps friendship.
JonTron is going insane in the current Mario Party series and Egoraptor gets really intense and quiet during Brawl xD.
Thankfully, I can't think of any time that i've gotten overtly angry at anyone while playing a video game. Sure I've definitely gotten in the moment and perhaps yelled some expletives but that's about it. No grudges. . .YET.
Ah, Goldeneye, I actually lost a friend over the multiplayer. God damn game and it's cheap-ass trip mine trolling.
I have only ever played Mario Party 1 once with a single friend, we pissed each other off so much, struggling not to flat out punch each other... and in the end through a number of sudden, cheap moves we both lost to the AI controlled Yoshi, we both raged so, so hard and vowed never to play that bastard game ever again.

Maybe it's just who I know, but any multiplayer NSMBWii sessions I've had, despite the constant accidental deaths, stupid mistakes and mean-spirited dick moves, we all ended up laughing our asses off too much to get genuinely pissed off.

I hate poor writing like this. They did many things better (and worse too). It should be "...one of the things they did better..."
I find it's more family relationships that get strained. If I'm playing competitively with mates, we all have a laugh, but when I'm with my brother, we can really end up arguing.
4 Swords. Its genius game! I especially admire how masterfully it is built to create co-operation, but its true Davinci -level genius is hidden deep inside of the game; it secretly also tribulates your negative emotions, without you knowing anything. It slowly builds envy, lust for money(that you don't even do anything with!), pretentious and obnoxious, hypocrite virtuous hero attitude on one player, which WILL especially annoy one other player(probably your brother, if available) which creates competitive tensions and unwritten back stabbing alliances. This game is family breaking stuff.
I saw how it made two grown men, brothers, to reduce to their infancy and started childish squabble over nothing and they did their everything, not to win the game them selves, but not to allow their brother to win. Then, much later I noticed, that I was no better, I was doing just the same to my brother, and I put the GBA away for a moment and silently said "wow" in my head, and continued to use those emotions to my advantage. I "won".
It is the best game, that most people didn't play. It is completely unique game, and the climax of certain kind of multiplayer. There is no other comparable co-op game, and It should be gamers pilgrimage, that one should experience in ones life time. Its increasingly difficult to be able to experience in its full might, as 4 GBAs and cables might be increasingly difficult to find, but it is thousand times worth it. 4 players only. If you don't get 4 players, its not (so much) worth it. Even 3 players don't create that hidden chemistry.
Wasn't surprised at all to see Mario Kart, Smash Bros and Mario Party on the list, those games have probably caused more people to hate each other due to random events and luck than most others in history.
New Super Mario Bros Wii? Meh, it can be annoying, but it depends on who your friends are since it's not really meant to be that much of a competitive game. As for Four Swords, people actually found enough friends with GBA consoles, the game and link cables to actually try the multiplayer?

They chose the worst possible Mario Party game, and I much prefer Super Bomberman 2. Great list regardless.
EDIT: They also gave Resident Evil 6 an 8.5 out of 10. There goes their credibility.
