Rayman Legends interview - more impressive visuals, asymmetric features and more

- Michel Ancel and Ubisoft were immediately excited when they discovered Wii U.
- WiiU GamePad brings a lot of originality for platforming.
- Many new features are now possible in games with WiiU (coop, puzzles, gameplay).
- Rayman Legends uses the UbiArt framework in more complex ways than Origins.
- Shaders are more impressive in Rayman Legends.
- It’s a 2D game, but some background elements will be in 3D.
- Rayman Legends is not a remake or sequel to Origins. Totally new adventure.
- Like Origins, the game will contain 5 unique worlds.
- Less than 20% of Rayman Legends will use asymmetric gameplay.
- Ubisoft thinks it was important to create exclusive gameplay for Wii U.
- Asymmetric levels are not mandatory. The game can be finished without them.
- In singleplayer mode, the player controls Murphy with the GamePad in these asymmetric levels. AI controls other characters.
- First video leak of Rayman Legends showed many new features but some of them will not be integrated.

First it was 100% Murphy, then 50%, now 20%.
The game does look visually better than origins, so that would explain somethings. Also...it sounds like a sequel to me

Who said Rayman needs NFC? please... this game looks amazing without that, it's not Skylanders. In fact, DLC would be better than just plastic toys.

Oh, crud. I was looking forward to the Rabbid and Ezio parts...

However, since we saw Rabbids in that early 'leaked' trailer, it means they are maybe still in, right? ._.
