Another Friday is upon us! I can't believe we went a whole week without a Nintendo Direct. Let's hope I didn't jinx myself! Let's just get this Friday out of the way no matter what. It's time to enjoy the weekend! See you in a few, short hours.
Have you been around GoNintendo for awhile now? If so, you most likely know who Cory Godbey is. For those that don't know, he's one of the most talented artists I've ever seen. He also happens to love Nintendo games. That's what lead him to teaming up with GoNintendo for an absolutely amazing run of comics. I'm telling you, his work is some of the highest caliber we've ever seen on the site. Hell, it's some of the nicest gaming art I've seen ever.
If you missed out on that content, you can catch up on all his goodness at the links below.

To my surprise, Cory returned with a brand-new piece of artwork celebrating the 3DS eShop. Just like we used to back in the day, we're offering up the Thursday End of Day thought to Cory. His work is below, but in bold you'll also see a blurb from the man himself. Huge thanks to Cory for sending this our way!
Every now and again a friend will ask what I'm playing these days. Inevitably my answer is something off the eShop. Whether puzzling my way through another Pushmo, JRPGing with the Denpa Men, or dodging blocks in Speed X 3D, it's always 3DS eShop games.
The other night I was just like, "Oh my gosh, I love the eShop! I got to do a piece about it." Here you go. Enjoy!

Oh wow that is amazing! Fantastic job Cory!
Stunning. That is a wonderful piece. Thank you, Cory, for including our little Max and Bomb Monkey. Much appreciated. I love your depictions of them and the other characters. Bravo.
That is fantastic! This is some straight up beautiful art.
Great piece!
A little sad that my favourite eShop game (freakyforms) isnt included, though...
How I've missed you Cory!
Dillon looks a bit odd, but other than that great work!
Thanks for the new wallpaper, Cory! Also, Jools approved haha
I love Cory Godbey's artwork.
Very nice, I too, find the eShop to be a great place to find some good games to play.
Yay for the eShop heroes!
Great work Cory!
I love it!
You should do the Ambassador Certificate next.
Love Cory's work, can't get enough of it. Amazing job!
And yet, his talent gives me the sadness.
Cory Godbey and a couple of other awesome artists are putting together a teaching platform called The Lamp Post Guild through Pathwright to teach aspiring artists how to become a professional illustrator. They've got it up on kickstarter.
Going through the same college art program that they did, it gives me high hopes that maybe one day I can be as big as they are.
Anyone who's a fan of Cory's work should definitely support TLPG on kickstarter.
