I'll set you a challenge. Without any policing from the SUMO or SEGA crew, if you can all agree on three characters by the 1st of December and prove there is sufficient interest of at least 1000 unique people *per* character, I will present the result to SEGA. I can't promise anything will happen as a result, but since you're starting it...
Let's see if you can organise yourselves in the next few weeks to pull that off!

I frickin' hate how Racers and Fighting games take away characters from a roster, they should be adding to it with every new title, imho.
I just want Big & Billy Hatcher back.
But yeah, I saw that list and it bothers me because Hatsune Miku is at the top.
And not that I have a problem with Miku, but I'd rather ACTUAL SEGA CHARACTERS, not another non-SEGA one. We already have Ralph, a real life woman and Steam has TF2 guys. I don't need a virtual diva/idol in there too.
Segata Sanshiro is winning right now though, which I am pumped about.
Aside from wanting Billy to return, I support Sketch, Vector Man and Toejam & Earl.
Bayonetta would be cool, but I really doubt it. Ristar is the flagman, so that'd also be surprising, and Phantom R seems really, really unlikely. And too new and I associate him with Nintendo.

I want to see a Spiral Knight, but I don't think we'll see one outside of PC. maybe OOZE, Team Chaotix, MIGHTY THE ARMADILLO!!! Eggrobo, Sally Acorn, Ristar(won't happen). and Billy Hatcher. ooh! and Vector Man!

I love my Ryo, but I got my first love NiGHTS playable now so I voted Bayonetta.
Toejam and earl should be higher, two characters for the price of one is so much better.

Agreed on miku, such a waste if she does get picked when sega has so much history it could represent with other characters (their are far too many sonic characters too)
I was thinking that Sega doesn't have much else to represent after these two racers, then you said Bayonetta and now I demand her.
Though her All Star move could get risque.
I personally voted for Vectorman, Ryo, Arle, and Miku (she has her own line of Sega games, and Sega owns the rights to her and other Vocaloids made by Crypton). Personally, I would love for Arle to make it, but if Segata or Vectorman get in, I'll be happy.
Yeah... someone went and advertised ONLY HER PETITION to a bunch of Miku fansites, who I'm confident signed for her solely because it was Miku and nothing else. She had like triple as many signatures as anyone else for a while, but now I think both Segata and Ryo have caught up and passed her. I heard the Miku fans ragequit when she dropped out of first so they might not be plugging it anymore.

Ryo, Axel Stone, and Billy Hatcher are the only possible outcomes! There is no competition the rest are failures...

Just so all y'all know, you can vote for more than one, or even more than THREE characters. Heck, I voted for so many I might as well've just given a negative vote to Ryo and the Valkyria Chronicles characters. But that's because I want them ALL! Especially the Bonanza Bros., Vectorman, Segata Sanshiro, Ristar, Bayonetta, ToeJam & Earl, Blaze, and Ash. So yeah. I hope we get more than just the 3 SEGA'll end up looking at.
