So basically, the PS3 took six to seven years to achieve the sales it has now, and the 3DS only took two years to skip over it. Impressive.

Sure, but you have to consider that the 3DS is doomed because Angry Birds is free on your phone.

Meditate on this, and you will raise to higher market enlightenment.

What? How has the PS3 only sold that many? No wonder Japanese devs aren't spending as much as western studios on game development. Hardly seems like there's much reason to; handhelds require less dev cost.
