Code of Princess rated by German USK

Code of Princess is indeed on its way to Europe. Today we have the German USK rating for the title, which reveals that it will be published by its Japanese publisher Agatsuma Entertainment. Thanks to NintenDaan for the heads up!

It's grasping at straws given its track-record in Europe and different studios involved, but crossing fingers so hard that somebody takes care of Etrian 4. With the eShop and no real need for further localization we should at least be granted a digital release, which most likely will be the case with CoP.

great news, reall great news.
A Pre Order Bonus would be great but the game alone is great.

YES! YES! YES!
Here's hoping Etrian Odyssey follows suit. I wonder if I'll have to pick up the bonus CD and artbook seperately like I did with Catherine though.

I just hope this doesn't get the Virtue's Last Reward treatment and there be no dub voice option. D:
I know they have different publishers, but I don't want that to start becoming a trend.

@Red@ChainALM

Guys I could not agree more about etrian 4. Is there any petition made by serious people somewhere around the internet?

@thorn-rock

Not that I'm aware of. I'm also realistic enough about it to realise this is no Project Rainfall, with the Etrian / dungeon crawler croud being way more niche than the audience some "big" title could reach.

This is precisely where the region locking royally f***s things up though for everyone - with Atlus not feeling responsible about their games themselves and no usual publisher behind them in Europe (as much as they're trying to become something, Ghostlight still seems a bit...erratic to me), you are basically left with ringing doorbells for European releases of niche JRPGs or similar titles and wouldn't even know where to start.
Especially since Nintendo (of Europe) burned themselves with Etrian 1 already (though that was pretty much their own fault), leaving them and most likely everyone else with the doubt whether it's a good idea to release part 4 of a game they already deemed a commercial failure at part 1.
Sad truth might remain that it'd take a company like Atlus to effectively market a title like a Etrian Odyssey in a region - which is back to square one, the issue of Atlus still not having and most likely never setting up a European branch.

tl;dr - eShop release plz. Anyone. *sigh*

@ChainALM
As someone who pre-ordered pretty much any Atlus release of interest and enjoyed the free stuff along with it, me mourning about the expectable lack of (comparable?) goods would be another issue, I guess. Almost makes me consider just importing a goddamn American 3DS, inconvenient as it may be. Almost.

Honestly, I'm still feeling like that importing a US 3DS might be a better option long term as Code of Princess and Etrian 4 are two games I really want to play. And while the confirmation of CoP is a step in the right direction, there's still no word yet (if ever) on E4. Heck, I'd probably end up double dipping on VLR also since one of the reasons I was so psyched for it was it's fantastic voice cast, on top of it being a brilliant carry on from 999. I felt so jipped that the EU version is JPN VA only. So, I do get where you're coming from.
