For whatever reason, the Japanese public just isn't interested in Project X Zone. As you can see, that has lead to some major price drops shortly after the game's release. I hope we get the chance to give the game a warm welcome in the states. Thanks to all that sent this in!

Desperation to sell through that first shipment I suppose? That's a pretty epic price drop though. Not good.
I really don't think it do well in the states either. It's a game only avid fans would buy.
Well, i'd say that pretty much seals it's fate as far as its chances go for coming here. Even though I do think it would actually do better here, I don't believe it will get the chance now.
i don't see the logic in saying this kills the chance for localisation. Games that flop in Japan can be successful in the West and vice versa.
If anything it surely would lead to more sales because... less sales are impossible.
I really don't see the need for a japanese game to have huge sales in its home before it sees the light of day in the West.
If this is the perception on japanese studios this needs to change. There are more countries than Japan in the world you know.
Wow, that‘s a HUGE price drop. I just hope somebody picks it up for localization.

Where did you get that from? its the holidays prices drop
@stealth It sold like less than 30k units its first week and then went south from there. I doubt it's from any holiday sale.
where can i get it for 980 yen?
true. zero escape virtue's last reward was meh in japan but in america, it's pretty big.
They can always release it as a Download Only title on the eShop here in the states. And it'd be a great opportunity for Nintendo to push the fact that the eShop does exist and promote this title as a game you can get for a good price (lower than retail 3DS titles). That'd be a smart move to make.
I wonder why japan dgafs about this? Maybe it's because Megaman/Sonic/Pacman are nowhere to be seen in the game? It doesn't have the 'popular' character of each company? I dunno. this is odd.
