Could there be a chance of Destiny hitting Wii U? The latest bit of hope comes from the game's official website. If you go to the preorder page and check out the source code, you see this tidbit.

I don't see why it won't show up on wii U, but I heard that the source code doesn't guarantee anything. BLOPS 2 also has the same data, it did show up for most of those platforms, but it didn't come out for the Xbox 720 nor the PS4

"My body is ready" - Pretty much told me that there was going to be a Wii U release. Why else would they put that in the trailer?

that's just for google's search algorithms. you want people who type that into google to land on the pre-order page. doesn't matter if that is actually true or not. same reason it says "xbox 720" in there.

I have a feeling this will come over to the U... Or is that just wishing? It's Activision who likes to spread games over manys systems for example. Yeah, they are a 3rd party developer and they all hate Nintendo and hope the die.... But still, why not? They could also use some of the extra juice in the U and, of course, GamePad use and Miiverse.
Yeah, the "My body is ready" COULD be a hint, but it doesn't HAVE to be. It's not the most original line in the world after all. But then again the gaming world does know it's a Ninty thing.

I want this to come to Wii U, but I feel like Nintendo will be ignored this gen like every gen since N64. Shame. I do my best to support good third-party games.

Three reasons to why this "news" means nothing.
1. Vita is listed, speaks for itself.
2. PC is listed, they've confirmed that there is NO PC version.
3. Activision aren't exactly bringing their games over to the Wii U, aside from CoD & Spider-Man titles.
I hope it comes to Wii U (with Wii remote+nunchuck support, of course)
In not usually into shooter games, but this one sounds promising, with its MMO and RPG elements. Fingers crossed for it to be a good game and have a WiiU version.
Lets put it this way, if "My body is ready" DIDN'T have anything to do with it coming to WiiU, then that was an immature troll move by Bungie.
