Was waiting for this. Now I have a reason to get a Pro Controller! Now when I go back and play the older games in the franchises of sequels that got a Wii U release, it'll feel like it's still on Wii U to me
This is awesome! I just need a blue tooth connector..
Oh yeah, that too. I bought one forever ago, but my Wii Remote always disconnected, so I'd imagine the Pro Controller wouldn't fare any better.
oh yes ! but i had problem connecting my wiimote to my pc , i never could .
I "had" to buy a wii classic controller usb to pc , it worked great and offered two ports (ideal for fighting games) but i broke it . Now i'm wondering if i should track down another one or try my luck at their new model supposedly wireless .
If only i could use my wiimote nunchuk as a replacement for the mouse keyboard , but i can't figure that out .
I'm hoping if kof , virtua fighter, sega 3d fighter , doa , soul calibur , capcom 2d fighters , marvel vs capcom 3, mortal kombat even come out for wii u I hope they'll support the wii classic controller , but it's doubtful . "Luckily" , it's even more doubtful than any of those games makes it , otherwise i should buy two of those controller .
on launch day the first thing I did was plug the pro controller into my pc via the usb cable, windows recognized it as an input device, all it would take is a driver and bam, pc controller.
a long way to go before it's as good as the support the 360 pad has, but still, it's a step.
Scratch that, just checked and my laptop has bluetooth built in (though I can't get it to find my phone :/)
So guys. I went searching for a USB Dongle and I found a good one.

It is currently half off the initial $30 price tag. Only $13! If you use the Promotion Code listed on the product page, it goes down to $7.99! WHAT A BARGAIN!
Oh, free shipping too! I already ordered mine. They're running out of stock soon so buy it if you need it.
I'm a derp, this laptop doesn't have a bluetooth antenna.
I'd totally jump on that, but "For PCs: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7" I have 8 :/
Edit: Meh, I'll just get it and wait for the driver to come out, it says they're working on it.
I use the 360 wireless controller connector to use my 360 controller on my PC. Works great! I assume that people will need bluetooth in their computers to connect the Wii U controller.
That's pretty awesome. May be useful in the future.
As I've said on other sites, I'm more excited to see the possibilities of a Wii U pad on pc than I am for the Wii U pad on the Wii U. Don't get me wrong, Nintendo will release some excellent games on the console that take full advantage of the controller, but the controller possibilities seems almost endless on pc. I hope getting the pro to work helps whoever is attempting to get the pad to work.
I know this is very optimistic thinking, but if it the pad could use the pc's processing abilities to display completely different content from the monitor it would simply be insane. Not to mention I'm sure a 1k dollar pc could easily handle two of these things.
