You and me both, buddy.

Though it looks awesome on 3DS; Plus, the footage of the monsters being infected with that dark energy, looks like things may be going up a notch!!

Looks like Monster Hunter 4's graphics have improved a bit. The textures are still very low res but when you miniize the size of the youtube video to the size of a 3DS screen the game looks quite lovely.

who cares about anything else... WE'RE GOING TO BE HUNTING ZOMIBE MONSTERS!(&^%#(^&%$)@^%$^@$_*

hopefully its not a full hunt and a kind of 'last hurrah' for the monster, but this leads to MANY more options to weapons/armor... dark sets..... OMFG(@*^%)(*@%^

The LAN adapter returns...

Seems like new third party announcements have dried up for 3DS. I wonder if developers are shifting over to PS4.

"This is now possible, but you have to have a Wii U LAN adapter."

Complete and utter fail on Nintendo's part.

i don't get how everyone is so quick to throw in the towel just because there were no huge megatons in a nintendo direct one time. this presentation went hand-in-hand with the short first party presentation they showed for japan last week. it covers what, the next few months mainly?

oh, but if no new games were shown, it must mean no new games are coming out for the 3ds, at all, ever! e3 be danged! no brand new games shown, so everyone must be bailing nintendo and moving to the ps4, right? makes sense! logic!

About damn time the Oracle games came to the 3DS!

Guess the biggest "news" out of this is the arrival of the Oracle Zeldas to me, which was more a matter of "When" than "If" really. Hopefully this translates to a not-that-late follow-up release in the West. These games are fantastic and everyone should have played them.

Other than that, I guess I'm a little weary about SMT4. Hopefully Nintendo (of Europe) considers it "big" enough to acknowledge its existence and a European release. Dodging the bullet of a missing Etrian4 release was a pleasant and praiseworthy surprise, but when it comes to SMT I'm not yet seeing NoE feeling particularly involved and/or compelled and neither do I feel very good about being dependant on Ghostlight or Square-"Can we put some DLC into that?"-Enix or whoever.

And people were hoping Nintendo would put this against the PS4 event?

@t27duck
Do you NOT understand how online works?

I love how people will accuse Nintendo of being cheap and lazy, but they have no idea how anything works.

First off, the game is built by Capcom. NOT Nintendo. So why the hell is it their fault?

Second, this is a limitation of wireless signals. Ever heard of the PSP Ad-Hoc? Yeah, you needed to have a PS3 Wired to make it work. This is just how wireless works. One has to have a direct connection.

I was kinda excited about MH4, but I just played the MH3 demo on Wii U and the controls were just abysmal. How many fingers do they think I have?? Digital 8 way aiming???? You can't even move while aiming, just aim with the left analog! Ugh.

I still feel like the MH weapons are getting overly complicated. What was that anyways? it was like a switch axe, greatsword, and sns in one.

I hope Tomodachi Collection is released outside of Japan...

And I love how simple the Japanese Nintendo Directs are... It's just Iwata by himself speaking directly to the audience. In the American Nintendo Direct's, you have Reggie sitting in his comfy office spouting nonsense, while all the big announcements are done by Bill Trinen and other minor members of NOA.
