I do almost all my gaming on Nintendo consoles, so I never got a chance to play this. I'll definitely be getting it, I read and heard awesome things about it.

I'm just now playing Arkham City too, and it's amazing.

All of you people complaining are a bunch of Babies. Even though it is a port, The Wii U is getting good games. I didn't hear anyone complaining about the Assassin's Creed 3 and Batman Arkham City ports

Im pretty sure 90% of WiiU owners at this point also own either a PS3/X360/gamingPC and already have played this game there if they had any interest in the game at all.
The minimum requirement for a port to sell any significant number on the WiiU are for it to be realeased at the same time as the other versions or have loads of upgraded content and stuff. Third parties makes me wonder about their intelligence sometimes ...

while i would love newly developed games for the wii-u, a lot of people here forget one BIG thing. NOT EVERYONE OWNED A PS3 OR 360. for many gamers, who maybe could only afford a wii, this is their first chance to play a game which was critically acclaimed.

for the love of miyamoto... DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE!

If they are aiming people who doesnt have a PS3 or 360, Tomb Raider would have been a MUCH BETTER choice and would sell a lot... Deus Ex won't sell anything and, just as other people pointed out, they'll claim WiiU owners buy only first party titles

It's an amazing game, and honestly I'll buy it again. This review best covers it.

I like how people were so happy for games like RE: Revelations being ported, but something like Deus Ex, one of the most immersive and greatest franchises ever being brought over is some how bad. I want original games too, but at least we're getting a great game.

RE:R was not only a system exclusive, but has its roots in the PlayStation. Deux Ex has been available on PS3/360/Steam, and more importantly, has been as low as $10 for consoles and $5 for PC.

There are fewer Nintendo only gamers today than there have ever been (excluding Wii Fit and Babiez casuals of course). Wii's underpowered hardware forced many of us, including myself, go buy a 2nd console to get the aweso.e 3rd party software we were missing.. Hence, moves like releasing a, what, 2 year old port for $60 makes no sense. Who are they expecting to appeal to? There can't possibly be a large market for ports like this on WiiU

Why would people complain about AC3, it came out around the same time as the other versions? That makes no sense. Also, Batman AC: AE got plenty of criticism from people, but i think that had more to do with it being touted as a big release when it was a port of a year old game.

I think you would get the same reaction had this been on the Xbox and PS3 a year ago and we were just now seeing a port. The fact that all 3 consoles are getting it at the same time is a big difference. Plus, one of the bigger issues is price. You wont be able to go out and buy RE: Revelations on the 360 and PS3 for $10 while the WiiU option is $50.

If Deus Ex was $30, then i think it would be accepted a bit more than it is now.

the problem with this game is that, although its a good game. Its been out for two years, on various different platforms.
Im sure there are millions of wiiu owners who haven't played this yet, myself included.

But that doesn't guarantee there is a market for it. To me, as great as this game is suppose to be, it looks like the type of game that wouldn't sell too well. I could be wrong, in fact I hope im wrong.

But the fact is, nobody is asking for this game. This game is targeted more towards the hardcore than the casuals, and the hardcore are gonna know that you can find this game for cheaper on the other platforms. If it sells badly, which it probably will, it would be yet another excuse for 3rd parties to not bring games over.

why not bring a game like tomb raider. Something that based on its name alone will probably do better numbers on the wiiu, and its actually considered a good game; not that deus ex isn't, but why not maximize your chances for sales success to the fullest.

I guess, even excluding the fact many Wii-Only [or and even PS360] owners will not have played it, the real sting in the tale is that we all know they'll be no substantial ad campaign behind it [leaving it as a title sent out to die, and used as ammo for 'Third Party games don't sell on Nintendo systems'...]

The page is down. So how much are they going to charge for it? $60?

"It's just going to come out, bomb, then everyone will blame Nintendo fans and the Wii U will continue to be viewed as an an unviable platform"

Yep.

Why are people being so negative about one of the best games being remastered on the Wii U?

First you guys cry there is no multiplatform support.

Now you're crying there is? ..Ugh

This was my GOTY in 2011. I loved it. But unless they're adding extra content (beyond the DLC), I'll probably be skipping the port. Sorry, but I've already played it.

It's a fantastic game, but come on...

I'd like to have been in SE boardroom when this was discussed. Why this game? What is their intent and expectations?

I've never played the game and despite it being two years old, I heard good things about it. There's a distinct chance I'll pick it up.

I don't mind ports of good older games, but I DO expect current things as well... though I don't have a lot of faith in the so-called AAA developers other than Nintendo of course.

I STILL think Nintendo should be keeping a VERY close eye on the indies, future AAA developers are breeding there. :)

I for one couldn't be more thrilled. Deus Ex is one of my favorite releases in recent years, and an enhanced version for Wii U might be worth a second purchase.

darn , and no wiimote pointer support , well good thing for the fan of the series , that should mean a full sequel is a few months , weeks away from being shown .... of course it won't be for wii u , but hey .
As for the price , i would kindly remember everyone that the pc game was a part of the first amazing amazon bundle and cost about 80 cents for the game . so yeah .... Of course i wasn't really interested and there's no guarantee that my pc can run it , i bought the pack for one game .

Rabble rabble! Why aren't you buying this game? Rabble Rabble! I would buy two -- no, EIGHT copies to show I care as a Nintendo fan! Rabble rabble! You guys are whiners. Rabble rabble!

I am a plant with no feelings and Wada's **** in my mouth.

It's official.

Director's Cut employs a selection of GamePad features, such as "touchscreen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks, and many other neural hub enhancements." Eidos Montreal also says the Wii U version brings improvements to the game's boss fights, balance, combat, AI, and visuals, along with developer commentaries, in-game guides, and Miiverse integration.

And when these improvements are announced for PS3/360 + PC before the Wii U version has even been released its going to hurt it's sales, as small as it already going to be. Also the announcement of a non-Wii U bound sequel on the PS4 and X-Box 8 ~ brought to you by Third Party Logic

All I need to know is does it support wiimote & nunchuk? If not it can fuck off and die.

I'm more disappointed this is yet another 3rd party port that doesn't interest me.

As for all you complaining, I'm gonna guess you guys own a PS3/Xbox360 so... why care? This port isn't intended for you, I'm pretty sure its for Wii U owners cause ya know not everyone owns a PS3/Xbox360 which btw you guys make it seem out to be A LOT here on this site.

Thank You. It's not for people who already played it or "lol boughtz it on steam forz 5 dollarz!" Not everyone has a good enough PC to run it. It's for people who don't have a PC, 360, or PS3.

We're annoyed because they are releasing a game that clearly very few people want and will buy, the game will be a complete flop, and they will use the sales of this game as the basis of their ridiculous "third party games will never sell on nintendo platforms" excuse for refusing to support the Wii U.
